of Blankness”” – Momozaru

Last January, I was in
Having seen Ms. Machida’s
works, I was caught up by the desire to reread Japanese “postwar contemporary poems.” This time, I
remember having that feeling throughout the performance. I think the factors
can be found in the large blank spaces of the three tableaus. The poetry of the
white of the blankness.
In quick silver, I dance with my entire body painted in metallic
silver, so the idea that my silver body matches Ms. Machida’s “white of blankness” came to mind, but bursting out in small laughter, I put the idea
aside and decided to think over it for another day. And then, the blank will
come together with Jim Morrison’s “Alabama Song” selected for “Bigakkou [School of Aesthetics] 1969,” my
undetermined, fantastic “story telling,” and James Chance.
